![]()
If you are in the area and wish to join us, we'd love to meet and see you there.
Our Workshop will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of how & why as a Real Estate Professional, using social media and Blogging can increase your business. Bob and I will be sharing how to integrate this exciting new medium into your existing business to supplement communication with your current clients and to attract new clients.
Not only will we be covering "How To Use Social Media" but we'll be showing you exactly how to disect the ActiveRain Network and utilize the tools and features that can help you increase your referrals and your business. By the end of the day, you will be armed with all you need to know about "Real World" techniques and practical ways to put your Social Media Networking and Marketing Strategy into action.

In the first portion of our presentation, Bob will be giving an overview of why Real Estate Agents are using social media and Blogging. He'll discuss some important information about Advertising and Selling versus Networking, and will share answers to the questions like "Why do blogs get found?" "What can you write about?" "How do you find the time?" We'll cover all this and quite a bit more.......
In the second part of our presentation I will dissect the ActiveRain website showing everyone the tools and features available at their disposal to create an effective internet presence aimed and targeted at generating business. I'll be sharing some of my best kept secrets about using the ActiveRain Network to leverage your referral and IDX business.
We're both really excited about this workshop. Rumor has it that there will be 350-500 people joining us.
We hope you'll be one of them. :-)

nice hoodlums... er, I mean hoodies.
That sounds good but still a little far west for me. I had made a remark yesterday that AR needed to become a training authority across the nation to all agencies. We certainly have the talent.
I want to come! But it's too far, too soon! If you come to Idaho I'll show you a good time on the lake!
I wish you guys would come to Birmingham and do a workshop! :)
When you comin' to luagh in So CAL?
Brad: Sounds like a great opportunity for folks in the desert southwest. Look forward to hearing how it goes from those that attend.
Brad, when are you going to come to the Sunshine State? I'm envious and hope that you have a great workshop.
Looks like a great opportunity for Phoenix folks! I hope it is well attended as you both offer so much knowledge. We are all looking forward to Ohio's first REBarcamp this Thursday in Columbus. We'll be thinking of you and if your ears burn, yea, we will be talking up ActiveRain, no doubt!
Brad, at some point you all have to come out to the East Coast... How about REBCDC in October?
Yeah...so when are you coming this way? WE can be fun here too!
So, you are getting Tara or Bobby to come out and video the whole thing, right? Better yet, both. Bobby can live stream it and Tara and TJ can build an edited video of the event...
That's a lot of content packed into three hours. Definitely a day well spent for those in the Phoenix area.
When will you guys hit Vegas? That's a LOT closer to me and Vegas Bob will take us all out for lunch . . . hehehehehe
I look forward to meeting you hoodlums! And I'll bring my banana bunch to the event - but no banana suits in the heat of sept!
Brad --- sounds awesome --- I'm very sad, because it's just too far for me --- otherwise, I would be there.
Hi Brad -What a great idea and sounds like fun too! I hope the dog and pony will be coming to my area. We have some great bloggers here but many more agents who just don't get it.
I hope you guys plan something in the southeast. We have a REBAR in Raleigh in November...think about it!
This is one of the few times I wish my parents still live in Scottsdale so I would have an excuse to fly out there!
Brad, you DO know, don't you? I will be there? AND I will be packing some straws and some spit wads. ;-) I definitely need to learn how to be social...so this will be a great class. ;-) Can't wait to meet both of you.
Wow! Sounds like a great time! I hope some people do some posts on being there...
Brad, I would have loved this workshop. Your post that I keep referring back to when creating my own has helped SO much....Thank you!!
Brad, that is way too cool. Bob and Missy were here in Nashville and did a mini class at the Keller Williams office on Thursday. Besides reconnecting with Missy and meeting Bob, I picked up a few more tips of things I need to be doing. I know people will enjoy this!
Hey not fair (me stamping my feet) when are you fellas going to make your way over to the East coast!! ;)
Im jealous that Im no where close to this event. I'll be watching for something closer to TX.
Hey Brad,
Okay, sounds interesting, yet that last photo looks a little disturbing..(lol, well sort of). Good luck my friend!
How about making video of class and linking it in a blog?
We really do wish that all of you could make it to the workshop, but we also understand that for some it will be too far to travel. If you'd like us to come to your area to do a workshop or program like this, send me an email or give me a call and I'll share with you some ways we can make this possible.
Thanks for always being so supportive of us, and for making us feel so welcomed in your areas. We are fortunate and very blessed to have a network like Activerain and its members that continually want to learn, grow, and enhance their skills to better their business and communities.
Hey all, be sure to add this to our AZ Real Estate Blogging Network group? Are you kidding me, you have forgotten me after all this time we've had this love affair going? I'm so offended!!
Sooooooooooo looking forward to meeting you boyz next month! Things hopefully will slow down some!
I will be sure to add it to my meetup groups and email campaign!
Hey Candace, sorry about that.... As you know we are limited to ONLY 5 groups and I wasn't currently a member of the AZ Network Bloggers group. I just joined your group and added the post there. Thanks for the heads up, we're looking forward to seeing you there and finally getting to meet in person. Thanks. :-)
Count me in! I look forward in meeting with all of you.
I am so jealous that this event is not in my area. I hope you will share it with us in a video.
Thanks for inviting me to the community here at AR! I was looking at your blog and saw first post of something interesting. Social media is a great new tool. Don't think I can make the workshop, but will read more posts from your blog!
Thanks
Looking forward to the session! I actually saw Brad at Inman, but did not get a chance to say "hi."
Thanks for coming our way...
Brad:
What do we have to do to convince you to come on over to Austin? Enquiring minds want to know!
Glad to see you guys coming to Scottsdale! A little dry weather is probably high on the list of priorities for you. Can't wait!
Hi Brad. Would there be a schedule to see if you guys ever come to Northern California? I like that video idea...
It sounds like a great time. I wish I was closer to Phoenix to stop in and meet you both
Hi Brad - this sounds like a great event, and learning to utilize all the tools out there.
COME TO TEXAS! COME TO TEXAS! When are you going to roll out the tour dates?
Well Brad, you are causing quite a stir in the AR community...LOL...if you get to the East coast, I'll be there.
This sounds like something I'd love to attend, but it seems kind of far from here. Any chance you'll be doing something similar in Orange County, LA or San Diego?
Brad, We sure would love to have you all here in South Carolina, or near by.
Maybe someday soon?
I'll be there for sure! I'm sure I'll be overwhelmed by all the information presented.
I will be in Chicago that day. I wish I could be there. Any chance there may be any videos or notes from the workshop uploaded on here??? hhmmmmm???
Brad - I'm in... I'm from a different title company than your sponsor, so I'll keep it on the down-lo...
Yeah, I was wondering if that Bob guy was available to come to Myrtle Beach. I need some lessons on how to use this site. I am kinda new here and would love some hands on training.
Car Pool from Tucson any one?
Wow! Do you do these all over the country? I'd love to come to one in Northern California!
Looking forward to seeing you in Phoenix and learning some new cool stuff!
Brad: Sounds like a great workshop. Would love to see Active Rain come to Clarksville, TN
Brad, Sounds like you have a lot of traveling to do. We are honored that you and Bob have accepted our invitation to come to Phoenix. There is a buzz going on here and everyone is excited! We look forward to meeting you both in person. See you in September....
Brad - I laugh at all the people saying it is too far away. Tomorrow I will check and see if you are within a few days of another event I'd like to attend. If so, I will come, all the way from Alaska!
Brad, I'd love to be there, but can't make it. I sent a note to Bob S. about doing one of these in Oklahoma. Will you twist his arm for me today???? Thanks!
That sounds like a very useful seminar. Will you guys be in Florida this week for the Realtor convention and expo ?
You guys look like extras from the Monty Python Spanish Inquisition sketch.
I wanna go! Sounds like an excellent dog & pony show that I want to hear! Has anyone ever told ya'll how delicious san antonio's mexican food restaurants are? Yes? How about the margaritas? Have you seen the alamo? :D
Sounds wonderful. I wish I could come but alas...not now. When will you be near the east coast?
Bob and I are willing to come to your City too, we just need your help getting us there and back home again. Of course you do understand that if you bring us out there, you are responsible for putting together the "Traditional AR Gathering" too. :-))
Seriously though, each event that we do is sponsored by local companies, brokers and individuals. I know that in the past, our expenses to come out have been minimal, just a flight and a place to stay, and this is usually covered by a small fee charged to attendees.
So when are we coming to your area? That's entirely up to you and the folks in your area. We just need some advance notice to make sure our calendars are open on the days you need us there.
Would love to be there to learn! Any chance you can do a webinar?
Rick and Christianne - I am already in N. CA., just let me know what you have in mind?
Stephen - thanks again for having us out there, and for helping to put this all together. Looking forward to meeting you.
Roland - Bob is there in TN. right now, sorry to hear that you missed his presentation.
Anne - Bob is in TN right now and I'm in NV. We probably won't make it to FL this time but maybe the next one.
Debbie - Would love to see you come all the way from Alaska, that would be AWESOME!! :-))
Barbara - we do offer some training webinars, feel free to send me an email of what you're looking for and when.
For those of you asking about video, I'm sure there will be some taken at the workshop, but Bob and I will NOT be wearing the hoodies as we did in New York. lol~ I'm sure whatever video is taken will be shared on those members blogs. :-)
Sounds terrific, Brad and Bob. Ironically I will be in Phoenix from the 27th to the 30th at a CRS leadership workshop but won't be able to hang around until you guys get there. Should be a fabulous event with lots of interested folks. Will you guys be at the NAR meetings here in San Diego in November?
Jeff
Jeff - sorry you can't hang out for this one. We'll probably see you in November though. :-)
Brad, I am really excited about having you guys down here in AZ. I also believe we struck a nerve to a much needed/ desired workshop. We likely should be putting on a road show.. The wheels are already spinning!!
We are planning to be there -- looking forward to seeing you guys.
Ted - we're looking forward to being there and sharing all we can with of friends and members in AZ. Road show? "Big wheels keep on turnin.. " :-)
Hey Brad, just wanted to remind you and Bob to bring your winter coats!!! We NEVER know what the weather will bring in September. ;-)
Hi, Brad - It's actually November 12 I will be in Scottsdale. Bummer.
I just RSVP'd this morning, Brad. I can't wait to meet you in person. See you on the 2nd!
Brian, Konnie, Liz, Diane, & my other Fellow East Coasters: While I know I don't have the super cool hoodies of Brad & Bob, feel free to contact me if you would like to set up some workshops on the east coast! I'd love the opportunity to come to your area! For those in the Carolinas, we can get this going really easy! So lets get our thinking caps on!
Good call Jer, way to step up and spread the love! On another note: No Shouting at 6:33am!! lol~
Dude, I didn't SHOUT :)
Hi Everyone! This is just in!! We have the Arizona Republic providing press coverage to the event. I am now working on AZ 3TV.. It is going to be awesome!
Wow...I am disappointed that I will miss this event. Do you expect to have a follow on sessions?
Ted - great news!!
Lisa - it looks like we will be having some media coverage and follow ups after this event. Sorry you can't make it. :-)
Ted - 370 - 500 so far? WOW! This will be a blast!! :-)
Shhhh...
Don't tell anyone I love this song :)
And what the hell did you do to my WidowMaker? :)
TLW...ROAR!
