If you're coming to NAR in San Diego, I hope you'll stop by and see us. Traditionally in the past, ActiveRain hasn't had a booth on display where we've shared our goods and promoted the Network. This year will be no different, except we will have our own small section of Real Estate at the convention. Sound confusing?
Good, then you'll read on.....
Our friends over at MarketLeader have graciously offered to share their "Large Acreage" lounge with us, and I get to come be the AR mascot for two whole days. Jon and Bob are finally letting me out! lol~ I'll have my laptop with me, so If you don't come by and see me, and I see you, it's likely that I'll be offended and remove points from your ActiveRain account. (just kidding..lol) Seriously, stop by and see us. It will be an informal, comfortable lounge type setting, where you can relax, rest your weary feet, and just chill with us.
We'll be giving away some really cool stuff, answering some questions if you have to ask them, but mostly we'll be there to support NAR and all the wonderful members that we're hoping to see this weekend. We are also going to be doing a joint drawing: Two RainCamp tickets and a $100 American Express card giveaway for some lucky winner to enjoy dinner during a RainCamp event of their choice during the 2010 tour. We'll be there all day Saturday and Sunday. The drawing will occur on Sunday at the end of the show.
MarketLeader will be giving away a 10 day cruise, so you might want to stop by and see what that's all about too? I'm Looking forward to getting out of the office for a couple days, learning a few new things, mingling with some old and new friends, and most of all, creating some great memories in Sunny Southern California. (it will be sunny right?)

Amy & I are sitting in the Westin in San Diego looking over the Expo Floor Plan - we have locate 2425 and we will be there to visit on Saturday! We will have our cameras so we can blog about being at the lounge booth. See you after 2pm on Saturday.

Hi Brad - I am really sorry to have to miss the convention. I have family coming in from out of state on Friday, and they will be here until next Tuesday. This was the only time they could come, so I am hoping that those who do attend will take lots of pictures and post lots of interesting stuff!

I've been meaning to take off and hit Southern Cal. for quite some time... No set appointments for the weekend... Hmmmm...
Brad - I was trying to get there, but it looks like my travel plans aren't coming together (too expensive). I even tried to get people to donate money to see Mariana Wagner (@mizzle) and I arm-wrestle at the convention, but it looks like not as many people find that humorous as her and I do. Have a great time, tell everyone I said hello and bring back some good stories and information for us!

Hey...I'm a vendor who has been at NAR for over 25 years, but for the first time, we decided not to go this year. Sure we always love meeting our customers face to face, and feeling like we're part of this great industry, but we're on the fence as to how effective it is. Our product isn't new, in fact its been around for 25 years.
I'd like to know your take on what you expect to get from visiting the trade show floor at NAR. Do you care if this 25 year old vendor isn't going? We have our reasons for not going, but I'd love to hear how much that trade show makes in impact in your overall NAR experience. And, if you're not going, but always have, why aren't you going this year?
WOW - look at all these comments. I am here in SanDiego at REBarCamp and there's over 500 people here just "BUZZING" around with excitement. I just checked into my room real quick, but gotta head back over.

Hi Brad, I am glad I waited to comment. Met you in person today and it was fantastic !. We had the best time at the REBarCamp San Diego event today. I will drop over late day tomorrow to see you at the Expo. I hated to leave the party tonight but had lots of things to catch up on from eariler in the day. I will try and post the REBarCamp San Diego photos in a blog post in the morning.
