Resources for ActiveRain Training and Support

Are you a new member on ActiveRain?  Are you looking for the manual or guide?  Do you have questions, feel lost or overwhelmed by all the cool stuff ActiveRain has to offer?  Help is here, but do you know where to find it?  Many of the questions, calls, emails, and tickets I receive always start off with, "How do I.....?"

Here are some of the best resources for ActiveRain training, coaching, and support.

  • The ActiveRain "HELP" Toolbar for Browsers
Add It To Your Browser, Never Get Lost Again!
  • Getting Started on ActiveRain - A post to help you get started
The "Getting Started" link located on the main ActiveRain Page
  • ActiveRain Training Webinars - Webinars for new members
Webinars held Tuesdays and Thursdays - Here's the Calendar
  • ActiveRain University & On-line Campus - "Live" support webinars.
Training, Q&A, Support, Presenters, Guest Speakers 3 X per week.
  • Real Estate RainCamps - "Live" Conference for Members and Non-Members
RainCamp.com teaches you more in a day than you could learn in a year
  • The Help/FAQ Group - Multitude of member contributed tutorials
Help/FAQ group provides members a place to share and learn
  • The ActiveRain Guide - Blog featuring multi-authored Instructions
ActiveRainGuide.com culmination of members posts to support YOU
  • The "Search" Tool - Keyword or Phrase Search Tool for members
Searching ActiveRain couldn't be easier using the AR "Search"
  • The ActiveRain Manual - Blog posts written for members needing help
This is an eBook I have been building since I joined ActiveRain back in 02/07

Now that you've seen all the places to learn and get support, are you still unsure where to start?  Here's my suggestion.  If I were brand new to ActiveRain, or had signed up a while back and were just returning, I would make it a point to at least visit each of the above links to become familiar with what help, support, and training is available here, then I would go sign up for one or two of the ARU Training webinars

For details on what's covered, here's a link.

We are constantly trying to improve and enhance the Network and Community.  We will continue trying to provide you with the support and necessary tools and training to help you make the most and best use of your time here.  If you are new to ActiveRain, we welcome you aboard. If you're a returning member and notice things look a bit different around here, then this post is for you too, and we welcome you back.  I'm excited and looking forward to witnessing your growth and successes in the "Rain!"

Brad,

Loved you and the family at RainCamp SF.  Walked away as inspired as I expected.  Your team does rock, no doubt about it.  I have upgraded my membership and am in contact with James to upgrade my proper blogging skills.  See you in the Rain.

Blog-N-Roll Brad...

The only thing Broker Bryant and I need right now is to be able to access the comments on our Blog posts that have been shut down. BB's last post was shut down in the middle of an extremely useful educational discussion. It's such a shame. Please, please, please do what you can to get this problem resolved. If you've come up with a work around could you let me know? I'm all for a good work around or temporary fix.

TLW...ROAR!

Posted by "The Lovely Wife" (Broker Bryant's Wife) The One And Only TLW. (President-Tutas Towne Realty, Inc.) 7 months ago

Oh...

And just so you know we use our Blog with every email we send out. I can't help but wonder what the Consumer thinks when they click over and see BB's second post on the page has been closed. They can't even click in and read the comments our peers have made, much less participate in the discussion, which some of them do.

Brad and TLW - I started to write a comment about TLW's issue in comment # 15 but it grew so quickly that I wrote a post at http://activerain.com/blogsview/1392552/easy-programming-solution-to-activerain-posts-where-access-is-denied-due-to-lots-of-comments

(Brad, I thought it was best to link to my post since your post is on other topics and I didn't want comments to my post to hijack your post.  Hope you find it useful. :) )

That's a great ABCs for Active Rain.  And what happened to the days of "trial and error" around this place? That's how I learn best...

Brad,

AR is continually improving and it shows their desire to have a quality product.  I do like they way you used the ABC's too.

Posted by Don Rogers REALTOR®, GRI O'Fallon MO & St Charles County MO homes (RE/MAX Gold) 7 months ago

Amazing, Brad. There is a wealth of information and opportunity for folks who are new to AR...and those who are not. I wish this had all been available to us when WE started so long ago. Then we learned by T and E. Today's bloggers are indeed fortunate that they have so many resources.

Brad,

Awesome post - I am putting together a 30 minute class for my local board in February and will look this material over - the problem is I have so much I want to cover and ONLY 30 minutes to do it.

I'm going to go ahead and reblog so I have easy access to this on my blog.

Christine Donovan told me there is an Active RainCamp in OC in the next couple of weeks.  Count me in and I want Platinum Access!  I think the website is brilliant and I love having the ability to pull up my chair and roundtable with fellow professionals anytime I want - insomnia at 3am or a few minutes between appointments at 3pm.  I am hooked and I am committed to helping you make the site even better.
