The ActiveRain Conduit - A Nifty Toolbar for Your Internet WEB Browser
This may be one of my coolest and greatest inventions EVER!! If you can believe that... lol~
ActiveRain members and even non-members should consider adding this toolbar to their Internet WEB Browsers. It will work with Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari. The toolbar gives you easy and instant access to some of the most viewed pages and important helpful tools on ActiveRain. I think you'll find it to be a very useful tool. Here's some of the features and cool stuff it has:
The ActiveRain Real Estate Network Toolbar - Will help you "Stay Connected" easily and instantly.
- Access ActiveRain.com with a single click
- Pull-Down menu to select from ALL Industry Affiliates

- Search the AR Network for members or any topic
- One Click Access to Important Member "Must Read" info
- HELP Menu for Manuals, Guides, Training & Support
- Easy Access to AR Features from an RSS menu
- Link to Search and Sort ALL ActiveRain Blog Posts
- One-Click Access to the ActiveRain Staff and Team
- Live Updates, Announcements & ActiveRain Broadcasts
You can easily download the toolbar for your specific browsers and remove it just as easily if needed. Take a moment to try it out, see some things you may not have known existed, and let me know what you think? Once you download the toolbar and add it to your browser, you'll see how easy it is. Most likely, your "wheels" will start spinning and you'll be wondering how you can create a "custom toolbar" for your Site, Services, Blog, or Clients Browsers? I'll show you how, and the best part is that it's easy and FREE!
I hope you'll check it out, I'm really excited about this one... :-)
Select YOUR Browser below to Install the AR Toolbar

Congratulations on your new tool! I will have to check it out!
Awesome!! I will check out the tool bar.
Thanks Brad, this toolbar is great!
I just downloaded the toolbar. Very cool! Thanks:)
Cool I just downloaded this and look forward to trying it out soon. Im swamped and my activity shows it.
I'm all over your "greatest invention ever"!!!
Great job Brad!
Now, can I add to the request list?
How about a mobile version of ActiveRain with an icon for the Blackberry, Android and iPhone?
Thanks for the cool tool Brad. I'm now using your "greatest invention." I like it.
OK, I just had to come back to let you know that your greatest invention ever is 700KB's of pure fun!
I kinda like what we have now through BING and Windows Live but I'll have to check this one out.
Brad,
This looks great! I'll download it as soon as I decide which existing toolbar I should get rid of...
Jo
Thanks Brad trying to get this done for this weeks fun on line time that I have set aside to tear my hair out.
Thanks Brad, downloaded and I will post a blog with a review, thanks, always like new cool stuff
Brad - I'm in. Great idea.
Jeff
Sweet.... Another point for the good guys. When is the next rainCAMP brad???
Great new tool Brad, just took a couple clicks!
Brad - Cool tool. I just downloaded it and will mess around with it later. Thanks.
OK Brad - I just installed the AR toobar conduit. I guess if I'm gonna follow anybody, might as well be the Professor. See you in "class" sometime soon!
This is wicked!! I particularly like the drop down help feature.
Brad, I really want to download this but TLW told me that you are not to be trusted. What's up with that.
BB - that's funny, there's always the counter-offer tree. Isn't that where all the non-trusted end up?? lol~
Remind me to stay inside when I come over to visit you guys!! :-))
Definitely one of your "best ever" Brad! Thanks for always striving to make life easier and better for your AR members!
Now, that is an awesome little feature. I will certainly download it right now.
LOL...
Sorry about that Blog-N-Roll. But really, you're the only person I know who's ever broken their own blog. I actually put that up as my FB status :)
The way I see things, you've probably been the one causing the Wookie 500's :)
But here's the deal. I'll test drive the tool if you promise to fix what ever mess it creates in Win7. Deal? :)
Oh. And I really think your next project should be to fine tune the AR App for iRene the iPhone. I had to hobble all the way downstairs to mouth off on this post. I don't need this kind of exercise right now. Give me a frickin App for my phone because, unlike BB, I don't sleep with my Piece of Crap. I sleep with my iRene :)
TLW...ROARING (Have you missed me?)
That looks like a great new tool! Thanks for the heads up Brad.
Brad,
When I downloaded and installed there is also some sort of radio station dropdown. Is this right or should I remove it?
Rich
Brad, you never cease to amaze everyone! Thanks for the new tool.
Very cool. It was very easy to download and now my favorite stuff is one click away. Thanks.
Brad, I'm In will down load and take the browser for a spin...unless B.B. is right!
Brad, just downloaded it in IE. Is the AR Toolbar supposed to show up in all open tabs? Right now I have 3 windows open and the AR toolbar shows up only when I'm in the AR window.
Doesn't matter, I'm off to play with the new toy!
Brad, Does this "replace" the tool bar already on my Apple? Or just add an additional bar? Thanks for your creativity. ~ JC
Sweet...I'm about to download it now!
Oh no - what is TLW creating here blog and roll! I was laughing at that till I read Rich #25 - can we really trust you bucko LOL
I'll check it out. I'm not a big fan of adding toolbars. On my laptop I don't have a giant screen... and the real estate is valuable (it has to be valuable somewhere, right?). But for you... I'll check it out.
Howdy and Evenen there Brad
Just about four months ago, I satup little AR icons, on my desk top that take me right to the logon page. Thats all I really need, seen that I'm not all that sure if I'm really going to be using ActiveRain all that much.
Theres been some mighty under handed things going on in the community as of late.
I added it to Mozilla and have been playing with it for several hours * works great so far.
Sounds like a nifty innovation, Brad. What's the technology behind it?
Love the tool... thanks Brad.
Brad - This looks fancy. :) I'll check it out. Thanks, man.
Okay, I installed it, and yes, it's very slick. I like the radio thing especially well. Nicely done, guys.
This is cool .... and will save me a lot of time finding my favorite AR places!
I was just adding the Active Rain website as one of my homepages upon login. Your post is right on time. Thanks!
Awesome Tool! I'm with Jason...LOVE the radio thing. Thanks for thinking of us....Good job (again)!
Downloaded ... good idea guys.
Very cool! I'm in and off to download now. But if it screws up Windows 7, I'm with TLW! Roar!
Gotta get it. How do you people keep coming up with all this great new stuff. I certainly learn more here than anywhere else I get real estate information. Thanks!
Excellent, but the ActiveRain Staff doesn't show Rich or Jeremy....
Ok I've got it - blog load was very long and when it came it was with another proxy error. The other stuff is great.
PS Bob #44 I've got windows 7 and it seems fine other than the above issue.
Brad,
Learned about your "cool tool" in Active Rain University today. Thanks for taking the time to make our lives easier. I love this tool!
OK, I'll have to download it and try it out. But, what I really want to know is whether you are going to track me from the toolbar and know where else I go on the internet? Is this another case of Active Rain voodoo? Hmmmm ;-)
Brad - What will you come up with next? I am about to download it and try it!
Brad - I like it and it adds to the 4 inches of my Foxfire header. The scrolling ad might be a bit much. Outside that well done. ( I think I need to reduce my Foxfire header a bit)
Brad,
Ok, will try... just because I trust you .,.. :)
Most likely, your "wheels" will start spinning and you'll be wondering how you can create a "custom toolbar" for your Site, Services, Blog, or Clients Browsers? I'll show you how, and the best part is that it's easy and FREE!
Now creating that custom toolbar for my site sounds really cool too! Where do you find the time??
Alright! All is well. It's not a drop-down on my 'puter. Choices are out to the side of the search window... love the scrolling marquee with the Dallas Raincamp announcement! So will that change with new announcements of upcoming events?
vERY cOOL. Like candy for the computer. Very sweet. Thanks for the great inovation.
Hi Brad. I don't particularly like adding *more* toolbars. I hope there isn't spyware watching my every move LOL... but this is cool. ~ Lana
''This may be one of my coolest and greatest inventions EVER!! If you can believe that... ''
Yes, Brad, I believe...no matter what TLW says.
Help! I cannot add photos to my blog. When I try, I get a little "click" sound. Any help will be appreciated.
Brad - this look like it could be very useful to some AR members but I was informed by the younger generation around here not to waste my time on one Barrie had made for me (nobody woud use it) ... now I wonder!
OK Brad... Looks like you guys and gals have out done yourselfs once again. what a great idea. Heading to load it now.
This has got to be the best thing since sliced bread, Brad.
Now, I don't have to go through my e-mail to access AR. I am so in heaven right now...wait until I download this baby...oh, yes!!!
Thank you Brad for the tip.
Brad I will give it a try. I use both IE explorer and foxfire
Richard - the radio and other features are optional, just go to the toolbar options and change the settings.
Claude - I thought the ticker might be too much so I changed it to a message notification box instead. This way if there is any changes, updates, AR announcements, upcoming events etc. we can use it to get the word out. The scrolling text was questionable. Thanks. I appreciate the feedback.
Margaret - sounds like an IE issue with your photos, the clicking usually means a window is already open in the background and you're trying to open it again. If it continues, call me tomorrow and we'll walk thru it ansd get it fixed. :-)
Thanks Brad. I'll download it in the morning when I've got my thinking cap on, so I'll just bookmark your blog for now.
Dude - this is great :) now is there a way that it can display current number of points and a direct link my my profile page?
Hi Brad..looks realy Good, I'll give it a try, thanks you guys Rock !
OK, I just downloaded the application and wow, I have to say that blows away your Iphone application. (Maybe you should consider making your Iphone application like this one)
Blog-N-Roll Brad and his Reader's...
Please understand I was just messing around with Brad. Don't take me so seriously. You might force to take myself too seriously. I try not to go there :)
Blog-N-Roll...
I love it and you have my stamp of approval. The thing is really really cool. So far so good. I have two suggestions:
1. It needs a spell checker.
2. It needs Rock-N-Roll music. I've been able to locate the 80's. But the 80's were a decade of one hit wonders. I'm looking for my old time Rock :)
Other than that I've found no issues. It's syncing quite well the Win7 and FF. I'll hold off on loading it on FF Beta. FF Beta is still working out it's kinks. I don't remember if I mentioned it to you, but FF Beta has resolved the problem of not being able to watch vids with Win7 installed. I almost jumped up and down when they fixed that. Beta is fast. Can't wait to be able to use it all the time :)
TLW...ROAR!
LOL...
I used the AR search feature on TB to find crap and look what I got:
<CLICK CLICK>
That just cracked me up :)
TLW...ROAR!
Oh Todd...
I'm so with you on that. I want so much to be able to Rain on iRene the iPhone.
TLW...ROAR!
Todd and TLW - my iPhone app was just a Business Card for the iPhone, it's not really an app. I created and used it to demonstrate what members should or could be doing with an iphone app for their own business. (It's time to start working on a REAL AR iPhone App)
This toolbar was really meant for the newer members who need to know that there is help here and how to get to it fast. I really liked that I could add the other menu stuff too and that it's "live" so whatever changes I make, they show up on the installed bars. Very cool. :-)
I may show how to do one of these at RainCamp Dallas next week. I Better start packing now eh?
Awesome tool. Now if we could just access Active Rain on our Blackberry we would be set! Do you know if that will come anytime soon or if it is even a possibility? I hope so with being mobile, it would help!
Joyce - as long as you have web or internet access on your BB, you should already be able to access ActiveRain.com. I know iPhone users can access, post and comment using the safari browser on iPhone, not sure about the BB though. :-)
I love it:) installed:)
Just installed it Brad. You da bomb! You are always working to make AR better. Sounds like TLW has your number! lol
Jean - hahaha! TLW has "everyones" number!! lol~ She has more fun than one person should be allowed.
Just fyi... if you added the toolbar to your firefox and want it removed for whatever reason, you can hide it using your toolbar views, or you can uninstall it entirely. I forgot to add this part to the post.
For Firefox:
1. Go to "tools" in Firefox pulldown menus
2. Select "Addons" from the pulldown menu
3. Click the "Uninstall" button on the AR Toolbar Addon
4. Select the "Restart" your Browser option
For Internet Explorer: Call Bill Gates! (just kidding)
Hello Brad,
We are fairly new to ActiveRain and are always looking for new information on how to maximize the features available to us. Thanks for the info. We appreciate it and love the tool bar! :)
Dawn and Peter
LOL...
I'm calling Mr Bill just to see how far I actually get. What's he gonna do hang up? :)
Shhh. Don't tell WidowMaker I've had a few :)
TLW...ROAR!
Brad, How cool is that? Even I had NO trouble downloading it :) I"m so excited! No wonder you guys are the "popular" kids in class, lol. I can't keep up with all that AR has to offer. Great stuff!
TLW: I hate to see you drink alone. Make mine a double!
Joyce and Terry - you can access AR on your BB; it just takes time to download.
Brad - I like the idea of creating my own toolbar for my site, could be interesting.
Thanks for the new tool bar. I am adding it now. These new tools sure help in getting around the net.
ooooh, a new tool !! I got this bookmarked and will install it tomorrow.
Thanks everyone, I'm getting some great responses from so many both on and off ActiveRain. Just had an Agent who added it and isn't even a member on AR, but she just emailed me and said she'll be joining. It's working in ways I never expected, that's really cool!
Thanks again.
I have downloaded the tool. Thanks for sharing this great tool with us today.
Going to download this new tool. Looks great and have windows 7. Hope it works fine with that.
Hi Brad! You're just FULL of fun technology! I'm off to check it out--if TLW gave you her stamp of approval with that IE-7, then you KNOW you're good to go!!
This is an awesome tool, Brad, especially for Active Rain junkies.
It give me great hope that some day soon, we will see new icons for fonts, font size, and colors on the toolbar when we post...
Brad I just installed it on Firefox, I will let you know how I like it in a few days.
Thanks, Brad, great tool. I am going to resist the temptation. I spend way too much time on AR as it is :)
Awesome...AR is cutting edge!
Brad,
Sounds very cool. Will it work with Google Chrome? I am now pretty hooked on that as it is so much faster than IE?
All the best, Michelle
An appropriate time to use the word "nifty"! In fact, it is well worthy of a re-blog!
Brad,
Thank you for introducing us to your GREATEST invention to date. I have installed it and it was easy now to try it out.
I am loving it, now I am reminded to be here more often!!
hi Brad - Great idea. Just downloaded it and now I'm off to see what it does.
Cool! But I guess I can only install it on my desktop PC. My laptop wide screen is awesome for watching TV and movies, but it sucks for internet searches >=I But I spent tons of time on both. lol
Thanks Brad! I love your cutting edge, nifty-ness!
AHHH It won't work with my ALO home page.... I will have to try it on my laptop... Cannot wait!
Brad, I normally hate Browser toolbars, but I will check this out. Sounds interesting.
Thanks Brad - I am going to check this out today.
Thanks Brad,....cool!
Great tool easy download, having fun with it :)
Looking forward to using it, thank you!
Blog-N-Roll...
Let me ask you, would you prefer I critique this and assist and resolving the bugs here or via email? Let me know :)
Oh. And watch out for Debbie at RainCamp. I told her to put a hurtin' on you with a hug from me :)
TLW...ROAR!
I just last week put an Icon on my desktop for Active Rain..This will be fun to play with..thank you
As usual, too cool Brad. You're getting a lot of responses and I'm sure lots will download the bar. Keep up the good work.
TLW - feel free to call or email anytime with anything you like. :-)
Brad, wow you are such an asset to the community.
Now how about adding the Share On Posterous to the tool bar, then we could just click the posts to go in.
I know I'm dreaming.
Just downloaded it, all I can say is WOW, Brad this is the best tool I have found in a long time, I took off a few tool bars I really wasn't using.
Thank you so much!
Brad - We just created a toolbar for WCR members. The feature that I like is that you can create multiple toolbars and toggle between them - that is, they don't take up much room. Plus, you generate a small amount of income based on install/usage. So far, it seem like $0.58 per install.
This is awesome, I'm downloading right now!
As usual, a big thank you! Where would we all be without you pointing the way? Appreciated!
I,v added it and use it daily. Many thanks. Great idea.
Thank you, I downloaded it and am excited about this new great tool!
Blog-N-Roll...
It needs a login button. I put that in the suggestion box but God only knows what kind of crap gets dumped in there :)
And no. That wasn't me dumping crap in the box. It was Blogging Bertha. She broke out of her closet just long enough to pretend she was me. She's mentally ill ya know :)
TLW...ROAR!
Brad,
I'm loaded and ready to roll.
Hi Linda - Great! "Ready to Roll" is good, but doing it "Loaded" might not be the best idea! (just kidding of course!) :-)
TLW - I'll get on that right away, a login to AR button it is. :-) PS. Tell BB I said hi!
Check out the word for this comment TLW~ How appropriate! haha
What does the graphic say?
LOL Blog-N-Roll...
I told him you said Hi. Did he hear me? Probably not. He's had ear plugs in all day. I can hear the rock and roll every time he walks by. He's just figured out he can listen to Pandora on his IPhone. I told him that a year ago. Duh :)
Anyway, wanted to let you know conduit is looking good. I just uninstalled my FB toolbar because you've added FB to the AR Bar. Hey. There's that AR Bar again :)
Can't wait to see what else I can dump because you're a frickin' genius.
P.S. Where's my AR Sign in button? I'm waiting. C'mon. That request is four days old. Quit reading this nonsense and get back to work :)
TLW...ROAR!
TLW - I added that 2 days ago, it's right in the little pulldown arrow located next to the AR Logo on the far left. :-)
<<<<<---------------
LOL...
I never even checked that logo. Didn't see that teeny tiny arrow. That's a Duh on me :)
It's probably time to upgrade the strength of my reading glasses :)
TLW...ROAR!
Ready to download and enjoy! Thanks
Wow, this is great Brad - I downloaded it on Firefox and am going to put it on Internet Explorer as well. Thank you!
Alredy loaded it and it looks good so far. Don't care what the crazy broad with the whip sez---you are the best!
Thanks William - glad you like it so far....
....and the Crazy broad with the whip is probably one of my biggest fans and friends....
so I care very much what she sez... :-))
Being new to AR this is very helpful.
Just downloaded and installed in my InternetExplorer browser. Will check it out for a few days and report back if I can remember to!
Great Tool! I have been an inActiveRain member for a while now and just switched to an ActiveRain member.. This tool will help a lot. Thanks!
