RainCamp Los Angeles - The Date and Venue Are Set
Many have been asking me when...When... WHEN is RainCamp coming to Southern California? We just received our confirmation so I'm typing this as fast as I can. Los Angeles it is - May 15th, 2010. Mark your calendars and register quickly, we only have about 300 seats open, and only 84 Platinum seats available with tables and power for your laptops. That is about 1/2 the size of an average RainCamp in a much bigger real estate market. The other auditorium seating will only have your laps available and no electrical power.
RainCampLA will be hosted at Loyola Marymount University in the "Hilton 100" Room. - 1 LMU Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90045. (310) 338-2700. Check out the new RainCamp.com, we have our schedule posted there and all the information you'll need for each and every RainCamp event! We're really very excited to be coming to Los Angeles, we might have to stay a couple extra days just so we can meet up after with so many of our AR friends and family down there.
"I was lucky to attend the first RainCamp in Seattle. The investment of time and money has been well worth every penny and minute! I am a believer! As an attendee of the first RainCamp, I say "Save the date" and make time in your busy schedule!!! You will be astonished..."
Paul Henderson - Lacey, WA
"I have been to a slew of events that over-promised and under-delivered, often nothing more than expensive sales pitches from people who didn't even want to be in the field anymore. What impressed me was that Ben Kinney is simply sharing what he's actively doing. Very useful information all day!"
J Philip Faranda - Westchester County, NY
"I have received three phone calls in the last two days as A DIRECT RESULT of what I learned at RainCamp"
John Cannata - Dallas, TX

Shucks- I thought that you were heading to the DC area in May? I guess you will miss the cherry blossoms.
Brad - rats. I will be at meetings in DC then. How unfair is that? I'm with Debbie Rumsey - San Diego??
Jeff
I enjoyed Dallas. I will attend Raincamp in Cabo San Lucas as soon as you have a sign up.

If you do it in Maui, I will go again!
Seriously though, if you are nearby, GO TO RainCamp! Worth it's weight in Gold!

What is wrong with all these people - I have no problem with you coming to L.A. I'm in :) Phew, now I don't have to obsess about Vegas.
Rain camp is great when it comes this way I will go again.
WOW finally here. Thank you Bratt. Got my ticket :-) See you on May 15
you guys are really getting buy. Must be tough seeing the WHOLE COUNTRY! :-P Keep safe and keep truckin' - I really hope I can make DC event.
Jenny - Wow, that is really close to home. Looking forward to seeing you there. Don't forget to invite some others in your area, it's a great opportunity to bring them to an event where they'll get great value and immediate benefits. :-))
I just might make it to this one! I can visit my boy in college at LA Film School...
I am in! I just signed up. I have been asking AR to come to LA for the longest time. I would not miss it! I look forward to seeing all of you other So Cal people there.
Sounds like this is as close as you are getting to San Diego! Sounds like an event that can't be missed! See you there!
Feel free to view my posts on my blog about Raincamp here in the Chicago area earlier in the week. Lots of good info. My only regret is not bringing my trumpet to play for Brad at the Big Shot piano bar after party...
Bill - not sure if they got rooms yet, someone else takes care of that for us.
Rick - defininitely bring your trumpet next time, I'll bring my guitar.
BTW - thanks for the ARU plug in your post, that was awesome. :-)
Yes you WILL see me there! I can't wait!!!
How often do you change the classes? I like the top ten fre tech tools best.
In the tradition of southern California earthquakes, RainCamp will really shake up your business ... but in a good way!
Brad, glad to see RainCamps in so many cities, and so glad to hear that Florida is on the list! Can't wait!!
When are you coming to Hawaii? I'll make it then. Aloha
Looking forward to Clarksville or even Nashville, TN. Any date set yet ?
Raincamp last week in Chicago was simply amazing.. No one should miss it... I have written a few posts about the Active Rain in Chicago for those who want a quick synopsis
I'm in! How exciting. I'm looking forward to seeing all my AR friends.
Looks like I commented awhile ago. Is it really on a Saturday? Interesting.
Hey Brad - Video and audio record the RainCamps. Burn the sessions on DVD and sell for a reasonable price. Don't spend a lot of time on production values but just point the camera in the right spot. I'm sure a lot of us would be happy to buy them if not too expensive since the value of the information will be very good.
From the land where ActiveRain never visits up north.
Suzanne and I will both be there in the Platinum seating section. See you there!
woohoo! Raincamp is awesome. Too bad I can attend this time. I'll be out of town for my birthday! I know it will be awesome!
Brad - well this one is pretty close to me, and definitely a nice location at LMU. I will try and make it.
Rain Camp is well worth the time and money. Go. I will go again when it comes this way again.
Wish I could get there. Any plans for a stop in Detroit? haha
You all should go...
I was at the Chicago one and it was a great learning experience
take notes and bring plenty of biz cards
Dave
I was at the first one in Seattle. I went with no expectations and came out with an amazing amount of knowledge. So much to learn and understand. I will be going to the next one in the area again.
Hello all:
RainCamp is the single best investment you can make in yourself! If you only budget one conference per year, this is the one!
=)
Are you ever coming to the southeast? Florida does not count. How about Charlotte or Atlanta? Help. NC & Ga. two of the ten largest states in the union with SC in between. 23.7 Mil. people in those three states alone.
I'll chime in for a sec to say, If you can go... do it. You'll be glad you did. Raincamp is one of those events where you actually get to the good stuff right up front and and stay with it through the entire event. You'll come a way with ready to use take a ways that would cost you a ton and take months to acquire.
Thanks everyone for these great testimonials and comments.
I just popped in real quick to read, see who's coming, and say thanks to those of you who attended previous RainCamps. Each event seems to evolve into something more exciting and better than the last. Chicago RainCamp was an absolute blast.
We finally have someone who is dedicated to setting these venues up and making all the arrangements so that we can continue bringing them to your areas. If we haven't been to your neighborhood just yet, we apologize and ask that you be patient, we'll be coming soon.
I'm sooooo looking forward to seeing so many of you in Los Angeles next month. RainCamp LA will awesome!!
The RainCamp Lens
Thinking about how many realtors you could pull in from the LA area, I am reminded of the line from Jaws, "we're going to need a bigger boat".
I'd love to come but I'd have to close my businesses for a week since you're having it on Saturday. And since you're going to be at LMU, I'd have to also visit:
Heck, I might not get back to San Diego until June 1!
Any chance of an Austin Rain camp happening this year?
Russell - thanks for all the great ideas, I may have to stay a couple extra days myself just to check out some of those places. Who couldn't use some extra BEACH time in Southern CA??? :-)))
I'm with AR University on that one... :-)
Brad~
Would LOVE to meet you in person! I have my primary residence and business in San Diego. My team runs my business while I travel around Asia with my husband. Won't be in the States in May but just want you to know that ActiveRain is the search engine that is keeping me at the top of my web presence! Thank you so much! I get calls daily via my Skype which I then turn over to my team to work back in the States. We got 2 listings and one Buyer just last week. All off the web!
just signed up, I will be driving up from San Diego and look forward to attending.
I'll be there in one of the PREMIUM seats so I can rub elbows with some of the BEST! :-) See ya soon!
Hey guys see you there!
Got my ticket.....ready to rock and rain! See you then.
Looking forward to seeing all of you there.

Thanks for the info Brad. I decided on the Inn at Venice Beach, just two blocks from the beach and only around 4 miles from the LMU.
My wife is going with me so she can spend a day enjoying the beach area while I'm at camp.
Bill - sounds like a plan, don't forget to throw in a day at Disneyland while you're there!! :-)))
I'm looking forward to Saturday!
