What if a single click could convert your entire Blog or Web-page to a different language? How about 18 different languages? That would be very cool. Well, I get excited about this stuff because I see there is a potential to reach more readers, have global potential with your business, and use the latest and greatest technology to enhance and grow your relationships. Possibly breakdown the language barrier between you and your clients and readers.
I have a client who speaks 12 different languages. She is an Active Rain member, and I hope she'll find this post! I would love to see how she might use a tool like this. This could be a huge opportunity to open up the marketing floodgates all over the country! The best way to find out, is of course, to do a post on my Blog and see what others have to say.
Go ahead and try this, convert this post to any language you choose. I'll show you how to add this to your Blog, Website, or any other HTML Internet web-page! Some of you will read this and go get it right away, there are others of you that may not be familiar with HTML and how to place it on your AR profile or Blog. This is just another little tech tip for you in trying to help you, "Get Your Arms Around Technology"
You can go to my widget showcase, and look for the following text at the top of the page: Try it for yourself...
Convert This Page To Any Language
If you like this tool, you can pick one up yourself at their website, and add it to your Blog. Here's instructions how to add HTML to your Blog! DETAILS>>>
If someone does contact you to do business from another Country, or even locally, but speaks another language, how do you do business with them now? I'm sure many of you will have some great ideas on how to utilize this tool in your business, I just wanted to bring it to your attention. This is "NEW", and available....for FREE! It's a good life! Enjoy.
LOVE IT!!!!!!!!
Thank you, thank you! I have penpals around the world, they're going to LOVE this!! I'm on it!!
:o)!!
Good post Brad. I also like the neon widget. Thanks
It works, too.
I have such a feature on my MLS website, I wonder if people actually use it?
You do some great work!
Thanks
Sarah - that's what friends are for!! :-) I'm glad you see the value in this translator. You might want to check for accuracy based on the comment here by Dan Forbes! I have not heard of that yet, but I am waiting to get some clarification from some of the bi-lingual agents in my area.
Edson - widgetbox has some great stuff! I am mostly interested in the ones that can be used for real estate, lending, or the title industry. This one seems that it may be useful for all! Thanks!
Missy - I do like the snapshot, but it's really for my readers and clients. Sometimes a screenshot can help them determine if they want to check it out further. I have heard that the SEO may be affected by using it, but I'm not here for the SEO like many others, at least not for this blog! As far as international business, you may have more than you think... :-) Especially if they can read your Blog in their language.
Linda- you don't have to go far, just change the language of this blog under my photo over on the right. One click, and it's checked out. You can simply add it to your blog like any other widget. The link is for the details on how to do that, I hope it works for you.
Jennifer - this could open up more of the International scene for those who are interested. I am trying it for a while to see how it works.
Neal - you just need to focus on the many groups you have already. I wonder what will happen if you add it to your group? That would be a shocker to see all the Silver Star posts in German or French. :-)
Donna - leave it to me, I am always on the hunt for cool but useful technology for my clients and friends. This one, I just couldn't resist. I have heard there are huge costs in getting your website and blog translated into other languages. I heard wrong, this one is FREE! Gotta love it!
Mott - I do think some will use this. I noticed on my clustermap that I have some viewers from all across the world. Not sure what languages are represented there, but I am sure these 18 might help increase readership. Time will tell, but only in tell time. :-)
Steve - let me know what she thinks, you've got me curious now... LOL!
Pamela - this may come in handy for your international and bi-lingual readers. I hope it becomes a useful tool for you. It just came out on August 21st, 2007 on WidgetBox. They have some great stuff!
You are totally obsessed!!!
I would be worried about translation accuracy. My grammer and punctuation also leave room for error and what about tongue in cheek? Ohhh I wonder how that very phrase would translate?
Brad,
I tried the converter, translating to German - the site came in in German, but I kept getting a pop-up telling me the Google API key was registered to another website. I could not leave a comment.
Any thoughts?

Sandy - just snooping on the web can get you tons of new and exciting technologies that are available. Just trying to keep up with all that is out there is "Virtually Impossible". But I still try my best!
If someone communicates with you in another language (on your blog), try converting it to english, type your response, then convert it back to the original language. You can also hire a human translator if need be. If you speak a different language, type something in that language and then convert it to english and see what it converts to. I have not tried this test yet, I am still learning english!! :-)
