Flickr photoshare allows you to embed a short bit of code which creates a cool slideshow player on your website or blog post. Flickr also provides a variety of tools including online photo editing with Aviary, the ability to create collections and sets, and the SEO from Flickr images is amazing.
Take a journey with us as we traveled and camped in the great redwoods of Big Basin and Henry Cowell State Park. Ride along as we visit the shores of Santa Cruz, Capitola, Monterey Bay, and the Davenport coastline.

While I do hope you'll take a moment to view and enjoy some of our journey in these photos above, I really hope you'll take a few moments to investigate Flickr's other cool tools and features.
Great shots. This is coastal CA? Hope you enjoyed your trip. I have to ask...Did you look at any Real Estate?
Thanks Doug - These shots were all west coast and inland northern CA.
We are always looking at Real estate when we travel or go on vacations! :)
Hi Brad... Love your slideshow... The northern coast of California is so absolutely beautiful and your photo's capture it very very well. I'm a big fan of Flickr! Also a big fan and studied Henry Cowell!
Hey Rene - glad you enjoyed the slideshow. I have had a pro flickr account for years but had no idea you could embed a slideshow of specific sets or photos into a blog post or on a website. Very cool!
You may not know it but you captured one of California's beloved surf spots in Santa Cruz "Steamer Lane". Was flat the day of your photo but what a wave in the winter.
Love the shot of the pelicians or seagulls sitting on the rail of the pier---- how Neil Diamondish? Hope you enjoyed your trip.
Brad, I have to experiment with Flickr some more, but I'm impressed with you great slide show. Hope that you had a fabulous time!
Beautiful slide show! I used Flickr a while ago but then got away from it. I'll have to go back and check it out.
I have fallen in love with Flickr. I was a huge fan and user of Google's Picasa, but since they changed it and made it so you can't share the photos anywhere but on Google Plus, I've dropped my pro account and switched to Flickr.
I am thinking of dropping Picassa myself. I am impressed by flickr!
I'm not gonna lie, I love flickr and I've been on there for many years with a pro account. One of the best online purchasing decisions I've made. :)

I too have been a Picasa follower that is starting to get stale with the features...I think I will take a trip to Flickr and see what I can do ...thanks - what beautiful nature.. much if it so unique to California.
Hey Michele - I've use many photo sharing sites including Picasa but Flickr gets my vote for many reasons. Too many to list here in the comments but maybe I'll do a top 10 reasons post next... :-)
will Flickr transfer all of my Picassa so I am not storing multiple files of the same pics ???
Hi Michele - I'm not sure if flickr will import from Picasa and check duplication, let me go check? OK, here's the answer I found on a Forum provided at Flickr.com: http://www.flickr.com/help/forum/en-us/72157627222382252/ Hope that helps.
