7 Ways To Leverage Zillow To Generate Leads

Leverage Zillow to Generate Contacts

Generating contacts and leads from Zillow can be a great addition to your already successful marketing campaigns and advertising, but that’s only part of it. Capturing those leads and contacts and converting them into customers is what completes the lead generation process.

Here are a few ways to increase the volume of leads and contacts you’re getting from Zillow:

1. Maximize the potential of your Zillow Profile. Do you offer valuable information? Are you providing links to information that consumers are looking for, want and need?  What does your Zillow Profile make available to prospects? Your profile is “Prime Property” for obtaining leads on Zillow.

2. Get client ratings and reviewsTime and time again, agents have confirmed that the major  increase in their contacts and leads is due to their Zillow client reviews. Zillow visitors in many cases are choosing agents based on the experiences that other consumers had with the agent and shared.

If getting more contacts, more listings, more buyers and more leads is something you're wanting, and you're willing and able to take a few more minutes, do the research and the follow-up, then go ahead and take your business to the next level...

Hey Brad,

Client reviews and ratings are the "it" thing across the board right now. Even our MLS is pushing us to do the same. I'm slow moving on this because as a consumer myself, I don't typically rely on hotel or restaurant reviews. The validity of them comes into question, especially after watching on 60 minutes how so many of these resort reviews were bogus. Why do you think reviews are so successful for agents right now? I know I need to do this, I'm just sort of dragging my dang feet!

Hey Greg - reviews work in a way that is really unique, but yet this is nothing new to us as consumers.  Letting your clients "sell you" through sharing their experiences with others, is always going to be more effective that you trying to "sell yourself."

Many of the agents I talk with, or interview, tell me that their online contacts and leads usually start of with, "Yeah, we saw your profile, and were reading your excellent reviews... so we decided to work with you!"

Take a listen to any one of those top producer interviews, including Julia Carnahan from your area, they can explain it way better than I can, and to be honest... Agents really know best!!    (the links to those interviews are at the bottom of the original post)

Hi Brad, It was time to update my profile. There is more I need to do, but before I commented, I went straight there to make some changes.  Thanks for the tip.

Dan - nice!  Let me know if you need any help with anything at all.

My favorite part of working at Zillow is helping you (and others) get more contacts, appointments, and closings in your local market.
Everything else I do at the company is just a means to that end!  :-)
