HGTV is Casting Families Who are Outgrowing Their Homes

Do you know a family or someone who may be outgrowing their home due to an increase in  family size? Do you have any clients or past clients that may be looking for some additional room or needing to expand to a larger home for any reason?

Here's an opportunity that might allow you to help them working with HGTV.

Liz Lewis Casting Partners is casting families who are outgrowing their current home and desperately seeking a larger new home. In this series, two of the show's best REALTOR's will compete to find you your new home.

  • Requirements: Family must be looking for a new home with at least two bedrooms.
  • The chosen family must be within 50 miles from New York City.
  • Must have a budget between $300,000 and $600,000
  • There is compensation for participating

Great News! Thank you for Sharing.

Brad, the best compensation seems to be a decent renovation without paying too much for it.  It's like the owners pay for materials, but I can't believe that labor costs are included.  Wish I was closer to New York!

Laura  - hopefully you vace some clients or past clients that may be interested...

Patricia - not sure about the compensation, just wanted to get the word out there in hopes this will help somebody, possibly a client or past client of yours? Either way, I think it's pretty cool HGTV is doing this and offering it to those in the area.

Hmmm sounds like the Double Agents that was on the Discovery Channel back in 2003.

Cindy - unfortunately I don't remember that show, did they help families who were outgrowing their home and needing a bigger home?

Brad, I have the perfect family but they are about 250 miles too far from NY!

Hey Margaret, Hope you are doing well.

I am really hoping to find an ActiveRain member who has the perfect family for this?  I think it would be great to see a community post sometime at a later date sharing the winner's story from this casting call.

On another note, I was actually on film as one of the extra's last night in an upcoming movie myself (a bass player in a ballroom band) that will be starring Eric Roberts, (Julia Roberts brother), it was really cool, the experience was awesome.
