The ActiveRain Stuff You Won't Find Anywhere Else on the Web

How To Use Co Branding with Content Marketing

Social media sharing is really just content marketing on steroids, but how much traffic does it drive and how much business is it generating for you? What if there were a way to Co-Brand your Content Marketing and sharing initiatives to targeted audiences and do it for free? Would you be interested?

If yes, read on... if no, read on anyway because a mind is a beautiful thing to try and change!?  :-)

I've figured out a way (and want to show you how) to turn any web site or portal into a Co-Branded visit with an opportunity to turn your prospects into clients by directing them anywhere you want them to go using your own custom CTA. (calls-to-action)  Ultimately, the concept here is to have them end up at your final desired destination as a result of seeing your co-branded piece and clicking on the call to action?

Sound crazy? It Is! And it's FREE!

This in my opinion is one of the best free tools and services I've seen in a decade! Since Trulia no longer owns ActiveRain, it should be okay to go ahead and use them and their site for this example...

EXAMPLE SAMPLE #1
1. This is how people see Trulia when it comes to getting a home valuation or estimate right?

Co Branded Content Marketing that drives traffic looks like this below:

EXAMPLE SAMPLE #2
2. Some consumers are visiting this site for property queries and home searches...

What if you could have them see this when they arrive instead?

EXAMPLE SAMPLE #3
3. Not to dismiss or leave off the other of the 3 Big Portals, this is one of the most trafficked sites.

How about a Co-Brand like this across the top of every page visited with links back to your local website and search tools? There's no doubt this would cost a fortune if each of these sites made this possible?

I'll show you that it IS possible, how to do this and how to do it for free.  Come join me this Friday October 2 at 9am PT. (12pm ET) You're invited and welcome to attend this free workshop which will be presented live in the Cloud at the RE Training Campus. Anyone can come and everyone is invited.

I tried to watch the webinar.  I was there...and on time, but the screen was so blurred I couldn't follow.  What's up with the blurred screen?

My camera crew went ahead and recorded the session for you, you'll see in the recorded video that when you click on the small screen on the stage, it becomes clear and legible on your monitor. Hope you enjoy! :-)

Perhaps I'm the voice of reason, but what a mess.  When a person needs "Instructions to Join" then it's too much.  Then, we have to download a browser to join?  Yikes!

However, good points on the co-branding if someone wants to pay the fees the big 3 requires.

Dear Brad,

Pretty cool to have your own camera crew!

Colleen Lane - great to hear from you, it's been a while.  :-)

Fortunately this is a state of the art technology that does require a "two-step" process, but in my opinion it's far from a mess! lol~ Allowing a plugin for your browser is not that big of a deal.

The instructions are just for folks needing assistance with allowing a plugin download for their browser or for people who might be wanting more details about what a plugin is or does and the process.

There's no registering and no email spam or notifications and the best part is that there is no cost to you.  :-)

These workshops and training sessions are not webinar's like you might be used to? The RETech Campus is a 3D Fully immersive cloud based virtual environment and campus where we are sharing and delivering some of the best free tech support and training in the industry.

Seriously, when the co-founder of Sniply shows up at the last minute to come share and take questions, it's worth it to simply "allow" that plugin for your browser so that you can be part of the "LIVE" action as well.

Now on the other hand, if you're after a "one-step" process or just mobile access to watch and follow along, then simply use the "SINGLE CLICK" remote access before the event , or during the event, or even after the event. Easy peasey.

All events can be viewed right from your tablet or mobile device easier than dialing a phone number. Let me know if I can make it any easier for you? :-)

Thank you for this! I viewed the recorded version this morning and have already implemented some snips on my blog and Facebook page.

Helps eliminate the "how did I get here" and "now, what the heck was I doing before getting distracted over here" waywardness (not that I'm speaking from any sort of personal experience of getting lost on the web  (haha)). Exactly the kind of thing I was looking for to be able to send people to other sites with a way for them to find their way back easily if they so desire.

:0)

Posted by Becca Rasmussen (HomeSmart Cherry Creek) over 2 years ago

Rebecca Rasmussen - you totally get it, and thank you for the confirmation and affirmation that this tool (even the free version) is what some folks are looking for and need in order to send people to other sites (drive traffic!)

I love your "how did I get here" dilemma, and the distraction that takes place which we all experience at some point in our online journey. This should help resolve some of that or at least minimize it with our content marketing efforts.

I really love the fact that everything we shared in this session can be done in seconds right from your mobile device. In addition, I love that ActiveRain also makes sure you can read this post on your mobile. Thanks Bob Stewart and Ben Kinney for keeping ActiveRain updated and mobile friendly!

FYI...
I believe these "1 in 5" numbers to be conservative since everywhere I go, people seem to always have their faces buried in their mobile devices...

...including me!! lol~

I, too, missed it.   However, I will be visiting the recorded version.

Bookmarked!

Thank you!!

Hi Brad,

I'm going to need the Cliff notes for this...I'm tied up Friday at that time. Is there a do-over?

Posted by John McCarthy, Realtor - Seacoast NH (Bean Group Portsmouth NH) over 2 years ago

Here's a thought regarding content sharing from CEO and Co-Founder Michael Cheng who visited us during this session. He then came up on the stage and shared some great tips and took questions from the audience.

I figured it would be appropriate to use Michael's Snip.ly tool to share this:
