I have received numerous emails and phone calls requesting a copy of "The Realtor Blues"
This song was written by Jeff Dennis (President of the Solano Association of Realtors) and music by
Brad Andersohn. The song features David Sikes (formerly of the band Boston) as the lead vocalist
and bass player.
If you would like to know how to get a free copy of this song written for the Realtors of California,
please post me a note and I'll get you your FREE copy. It's a great song. It was introduced at the
CAR meeting in Monterey Last month. I know you'll enjoy it! After you hear it, we'd love to hear
your comments. Click HERE to Listen to the Realtor Blues.
It actually has a pretty good hook, and with Dave's vocal, it makes it worthy of it's 2 1/4 minute debut!
Very Raw, uncut, and funny too. Hope you'll enjoy it as much as we enjoyed writing and performing it!! :-)

Hi Brad, I'd like a copy when you get a chance. David was a longtime member of the Boston.org mailing list and I miss having him on there to give us the "inside scoop" on what he's up to. Scott
I'd love a copy too!
Thanks!
I would love to have a copy, please.

Ok, here's what you do to get your copy of Realtor Blues:
Just go to my website at Brad Andersohn Music, scroll down to the CD cover, Realtor Blues, right click on the CD and save the .mp3 file to your desktop. If you left click your mouse, that will play the song only. Don't forget to right click. Hope you all enjoy it, you can also here it on the internet radio at www.live365.com Thanks to Activerain, the song is getting airplay all over the US. We can't believe it! Another great success story from Activerain. I'll have to do post on the whole story. Thanks everyone!
Haaaaa Ha Ha Ha! This is great.! Yeah, you're right it is not one of your most top notch recordings production-wise (drum machine, an occasional "hurry, first take, get it done playing") but the song comes across and I can certainly see why people like it. It is very accessible musically (with an edge of course) and the lyrics are easy to understand and tie into the musicality perfectly. The mix is fine too.
You are the master of vocal recording. You always get a really clear, present, uncolored vocal sound...every time I've heard vocals you've recorded. What mic and preamp are you using again? I need your secret. I know I asked you this before and you showed me a DBX unit...I think...but man, your vocals are always so natural sounding, with no coloration. I think my favorite part besides the lyrics is the part of the song where you do the lead and the raunchy stuff starts...nice raunchy guitar tone and the bass and drums reminds me of later David Lee Roth's version of Tobacco Road with Vai.
Anyway, it was great to see you guys today! I can't believe how much your kids have grown. Sean is really bright and I enjoyed having an adult-based discussion with someone I remember having just entered his adolescent phase.
Man, how time passes. You and Debra look great. Of course, you still have your hair. Me? I've gotta wear a hat now so even the kids between 4 and 12 don't call me "baldy." It's good to know you're still jammin'. Robert really seemed to have wanted some jam time with you. I'm thinkin' the three of us could kick out some serious MF jams like the MC5. I'm gonna check out your website, hopefully for some BFDeal recordings.
I just googled "Realtor Blues" to get to this site. You're right, it was on the top of the page. The lyrics are clever and it was recorded well enough to touch a chord with people in your profession.
Chris
You look totally different in the guitar picture! Maybe you can give me some guitar lessons when you come out here on vacation!
Yeah, that's exactly what I meant. I bought a guitar about 4 years ago and have yet to learn how to play! The song was great!!
What ever happened to this song, I forgot all about it. I wonder if David still listend to this one! haha! :-)
